| Our commitment to develop FirstSteps to meet
the ever changing demands of our customers continues with the release of
V11.
Aimed as always to
enhance and streamline the day-to-day running of your business, we have
introduced lots of new features in V11 that we are sure you will be
delighted with.
We know FirstSteps’ flexibility is crucial to
improving your effectiveness and productivity so we have implemented new
features and expanded existing functionality in as many areas as possible
with V11.
The major changes to grant funding allocation and
reporting, together with a re-vamp of the staffing module should be enough
to whet your appetite to upgrade, but we have also included as many
customer requested enhancements as possible in this new release, as well
as adding to our suite of FirstSteps services with FirstSteps Hosting
option and Biometric door entry and security integration.
FirstSteps V11 has many new features and improvements:
Grant Funding
A
number of new options are now available to help you cope with the move
to 15 hours a week funding.
Multiple Grant Rates for different
sessions; i.e. Daily, AM, PM, Hourly Rates.
Grant can be applied on
the Booking Form; this enables mid-month changes to Bookings and
Funding. Funding can be shown on invoices as Number of Hours and/or a
Financial Amount. Funding Period can be limited to specific Hours,
Sessions or Amount.
New Staff Module
The Staff Module has been improved in several key areas,including
Rotas, Holidays and Absences. Staff Rotas are now entered on booking
forms similar to those for Children’s Bookings. This offers greater
flexibility and ease of use. Staff Registers can be produced on a
weekly, daily or hourly basis. Holidays, Sickness and Absence can
now be recorded in days or hours. This is an ideal solution if Part Time
Staff have a holiday allocation of hours rather than days. Time off
in lieu can be recorded on individual staff records or via Hourly
Registers. Staff Training Reports can be filtered on a number of
categories, including Dates, Course, and Staff. Monthly Staff Planner
showing All Absences, By Room or for Whole Setting.
Email directly from
FirstSteps Invoices can be emailed as well as
newletters and any other communication
Integration with Quickbooks
Invoices and payments can be imported into Quickbooks from FirstSteps.
Fingerprint Access/Security
Use
Fingerprint Authorisation to allow access to your setting and record
attendance times for parents and staff.
